Re: Business-4-Breakfast Event June 22 2011 Tourism British Columbia (TBC) and Thompson Okanagan Tourism (TOTA) have been working in partnership with communities on numerous tourism programs related to cooperative marketing and destination development.  We are happy to have been part of this partnership for approximately 5 years and are excited that representatives of TBC and TOTA have accepted an invitation to meet our stakeholders and local municipal representatives.

Laura Plant, Manager, Community Partnerships, Tourism British Columbia, Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation and Simone Carlysle-Smith, Community Development Specialist, Thompson Okanagan Tourism, will attend our Business-4-Breakfast event June 22nd at Glad Tidings Church Hall for a meeting beginning at 7:30am. Breakfast will be served – $6.00 pp /$10 for non-chamber members.

TBC and TOTA will present an overview of their programs and services, summarize cooperative activities and successes to date, and then open the floor for discussion regarding tourism and opportunities in Armstrong Spallumcheen.

We appreciate the support you have shown in the past to tourism and its important link to economic development.  We hope you will join us for this important networking event.
