The Armstrong Spallumcheen 12th Annual Harvest Pumpkin Festival is presented by the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce in partnership with businesses and community groups.
Harvest Pumpkin Festival was created in 2000 to bring the community together in a season that is as enjoyable to us as the summer months and now offers an opportunity for visitors to see that we are more than sun and summer.
Armstrong Spallumcheen has deep roots in agriculture and community - and that is what this festival celebrates. It is a great place to bring your family and friends for fun and there is something for everyone at this event. The event has grown to showcase not only the key event held the 4th weekend of October, but activities and events throughout the month of October.
Visitors are more than welcome to try their hand at Pumpkin Carving, pet a mini goat at the petting zoo, enter a family favorite in the baking contest or enter a team in the 'Great Pumpkin Catapult' event. The 'Great Pumpkin Catapult' has featured teams from throughout the Thompson Okanagan and in 2011, two of our teams were featured on TSN.
Activities and events include:
Lawn Tractor Races
Great Pumpkin Family Dance

Children's Pumpkin Carving
