Celebrate Canada! activities have become a annual tradition in Armstrong Spallumcheen offering Canadians the opportunity to share their pride in their country. The success of these celebrations is due, in great part, to the volunteers who organize the activities. Every year, the members of these committees donate their time and skills in assisting community groups, businesses and residents to coordinate local celebrations.
Part of a nation-wide celebration, Celebrate Canada! encompasses not only community-based activities, but those with a national interest as well. The events celebrated throughout are:
- National Aboriginal Day June 21
- Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day June 24
- Canadian Multiculturalism Day June 27
- Canada Day July 1
Our community could not Celebrate Canada! without the support of the Government of Canada through the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Schedule of events - available after June 1st
Although admission to the events is free, donations are greatly appreciated and help support the costs of the celebration. Donation containers will be located at the various events. Your donations help keep the Celebrate Canada! events free and accessible to all.
A special bin for donations to the local foodbank, through Valley First Credit Union’s 'Feed the Valley' program will be available in Memorial Park on Canada Day. Look for the bright red bin and help our local foodbank help families.
