Entertainers Wanted for Celebrate Canada – Countdown to Canada Day Festivities
Are you a Canadian entertainer? Are you a Maritimer who calls BC home? Then we want you!
The Armstrong Spallumcheen Celebrate Canada Committee and Chamber of Commerce are looking for entertainers to perform at events throughout the Celebrate Canada – Countdown to Canada Day! events, including Canada Day July 1st.
Do you know someone worthy of this honor? They must be a resident of Armstrong Spallumcheen who has given exemplary service to the community. Have they devoted a great amount of personal effort at one event OR have they been unsung heroes for a long time? How has this person affected the community? The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that markets our community and business - promoting products and services made and provided in Armstrong & Spallumcheen.
Event held in the Agriplex located on the fairgrounds.
Armstrong Shamrock's vs. Kelowna Raiders at the Nor-Val Arena.
Friday night Public Roller-Skating at Hassen Arena. Admission is $5.00/person or $20.00/family. (Includes skate rental if required - sizes 4 and up.) On-site Concession.
Armstrong Jr. Shamrocks vs. South Okanagan Flames. Come and cheer on our baby 'Rocks at Nor-Val arena.
Come out for our first meeting! We will be meeting at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Museum & Art Gallery. Hope to see you there!
There will be lots to see and do throughout the evening, ncluding science experiments, a limerick competition, cookie decorating, button making, line dancing and more! There will also be performances by the PVSS band, dance class and showcase choir.
In addition, there will be a BBQ by donation and free slushies provided by the Snack Shack.

Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Rec hosts 'Movies ... Right here in Armstrong' at the Centennial Auditorium. Admission is $4.00/per person.
