The Big Cheese 2023
The 10th annual Big Cheese ran April 14 and 15, 2023 at Hassen Arena, with the public Local Food Festival, an industry Food and Buyer Expo, the seven-course Ambassador's Dinner, and the grilled cheese and cheeseball contest.

Local Food Festival
Saturday, April 15 from 9 am to 3 pm at Hassen Arena, open to the public. Vendors of the finest local food and beverages, music, food trucks, and guided cheese tastings.
Food and Buyer Expo
Friday, April 14 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Hassen Arena, for industry. Exhibitor set-up and social, a buyers hour with business experts and buyers, and 1:1 speed consultations.
Ambassador’s Dinner
Saturday, April 15 from 6 pm to 10 pm at St. Joseph’s Hall, ticketed. A seven-course cheese dinner guided by Canada’s Cheese Ambassador, David Beaudoin.
Grilled cheese and cheeseball contest
The professional and amateur contest ran from March 14 to April 15. The professional grilled cheese event ran four weeks, the amateur contest happened at the Local Food Festival, and the finals took place at Hassen Arena.
