Welcome. Armstrong and Spallumcheen are a small farming community in the North Okanagan, surrounded by working farmland and connected by Highway 97A.

Drive times to nearby towns:

• Vernon, about 20 minutes south
• Enderby, about 15 minutes north
• Falkland, about 30 minutes west
• Salmon Arm, about 35 minutes north.

BC Hydro provides electricity. FortisBC provides natural gas. Both have online sign-up.

Internet

The two major providers in the area are Telus and Rogers. Rural addresses in Spallumcheen may have other options, including Starlink. Ask neighbours what works at a specific address before signing up.

Water and sewer service depends on whether the address is inside the City of Armstrong or the Township of Spallumcheen.

Garbage and recycling

Garbage pickup is handled by the City of Armstrong or the Township of Spallumcheen depending on the address. Both municipalities post pickup schedules on their websites.
