The Cam Jammers' 70th anniversary Rods & Rails Classic Car Show & Shine, with live music by Rule 857, food trucks, prizes, Pinewood Derby racing, and more than 300 custom cars and trucks expected.
Rods & Rails is an external community event hosted by the Cam Jammers at the Armstrong IPE Fair Grounds on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The 2026 event celebrates the club’s 70th anniversary and includes the Classic Car Show & Shine, live music by Rule 857, food trucks, prizes, the inaugural Pinewood Derby Car Challenge races, and well over 300 custom cars and trucks expected.
General admission is free. Vehicle registration is by donation and happens at the fairgrounds from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. No pre-registration is needed. Bring your vehicle between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM and register on site.
Pinewood Derby car kits are now free thanks to a sponsor group. Pick up a kit at:

Build your Pinewood Derby car, make it cool, flashy, and fast, then bring it to Rods & Rails on August 15 for race day. The challenge is open to adults and kids, with prizes and proceeds going to charity. Donations on race day are appreciated.
The Cam Jammers also support local students through community giving. In 2026, the club donated $1,000 for the Cam Jammers Car Club Bursary at W.L. Seaton Secondary in Vernon, awarded to graduate Callum Thibeault.
