Planning notes also listed downtown businesses and confirmed vendors, including Honey Blossom, Get Crafty with Chris, Cheese on Wheels, Our Little Acre, Wendy Pyper, Dragon Fly Soups, Three Little Creations, Missmack Clean Cosmetics, Sea Stars Kids Boutique, Frosted Tier, Palette Tattoo, Valley First Credit Union, and TLC Hydroponics.
Sea Stars Kids Boutique planned summer clothing promotions, Palette Tattoo planned hair product and gift certificate promotions, and Valley First Credit Union planned a food bank popcorn station.
Entertainment and kids’ activities
Entertainment planning included Ryley Booth, Morgan Johnson, Melanie Lemaire, and additional music or entertainment. Kenzie’s Kids Booth included supplies such as crayons, tablecloths, painted frisbees, colouring sheets, and a draw box.
Planning notes
The event planning timeline included posters, Instagram stories, vendor promotion, media releases, porta-potties, generators, food court setup, picnic tables, garbage and recycling, barricade volunteers, parking notices, chamber tent supplies, and thank-you gifts.
The review noted that most vendors were easy to work with and that future planning should continue refining vendor placement, road closure communication, parking signage, and outreach beyond social media.
