Sparkle & Shine lit up downtown Armstrong on Friday, November 24, from 4:30 pm to 8 pm, with the Light Up at Spirit Square at 6 pm and over 40 participating businesses and performers.

Sparkle & Shine Light Up 2023 highlights

The 2023 Downtown Light Up, themed Sparkle & Shine, ran on Friday, November 24, from 4:30 pm to 8 pm in downtown Armstrong. The Light Up happened at Spirit Square at 6 pm. The evening brought activities, food, beverages, local merchants open late, and entertainment. Pleasant Valley Road closed to traffic between Okanagan Street and Mill Street for the event.

Highlights

  • Light Up at Spirit Square at 6 pm
  • Visits with Santa at Hill Environmental from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, with your own photos welcome
  • Free make-and-take paper bag snowflakes with Zion United Church
  • The North Okanagan Knights junior hockey club from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with shoot-and-score and home game tickets to win
  • Free face painting at Jesse’s Salon by Creative Works by Christine Turpin, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
  • The RCMP and the Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Department on site until 7:30 pm.
