Storefronts
Storefronts is a chamber business-growth initiative focused on the visible, street-level details that help local businesses feel welcoming, cared for, and easy to notice.
This work brings together beautification contests, seasonal displays, and facade improvement support. Each piece gives businesses a practical way to improve curb appeal, take part in community activity, and help commercial areas feel more active for residents and visitors.
Storefront initiatives
Bloomin’ Lovely Planter Challenge
A planter and container-garden challenge that encourages businesses and residents to add colour, care, and curb appeal to local storefronts, streets, and shared spaces.
Scarecrows in the Street
A fall storefront and community display contest that draws people through town, promotes local businesses, and supports food bank donations.
Facade Improvement
Grant-writing support that helps local businesses improve physical spaces, storefronts, exteriors, signage, accessibility, and curb appeal.
Why storefronts matter
Visible investment in storefronts helps the whole business area feel more inviting. A planter, seasonal display, refreshed entrance, improved sign, or cleaner frontage can make a business easier to notice and more comfortable to visit.
These projects also give the chamber more reasons to promote participating businesses through maps, contests, photos, news, social media, and community referrals.
