Harvest Pumpkin Festival 2024
The 2024 festival ran October 4 to 14 with free events all across town, from bubble shows and painting classes to live music, Family Day, and Scarecrows in the Street.

The 2024 schedule
- October 5: Bubble Wonderland with Geoff Atkins at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm in Memorial Park
- October 6: Painting with Lisa Rene, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at PV Blvd Coffee
- October 7: Live music at The Clove with Liam Nadurak, 5:30 pm to 8 pm
- October 7: Drop-in Melodia Singers performance, 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm at Zion United Church
- October 8: Papercraft pumpkins with Susan Wilson, 1 pm to 3 pm at PV Blvd Coffee
- October 9: No-sew fabric pumpkins with Susan Wilson, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at PV Blvd Coffee
- October 10: Live music at Farmstrong Cider with Nikki Martinus, 4 pm to 7:30 pm
- October 11: Plein air painting class with Laura Gabor at the Seed Computers patio
- October 11: Bring-your-own-fabric block printing workshop with Jennifer Blake at Fieldnotes Market, 6 pm
- October 12: Great Pumpkin Launch, with competing catapults sending pumpkins through the air
- October 12: Family Day at the Armstrong Fairgrounds and Horticulture Building
- October 4 to 14: Scarecrows on the Street, with maps at the Visitor Centre.
Workshops took RSVPs through the chamber, and the block printing workshop through Fieldnotes Market.
Great Pumpkin Weigh-In
Jordan Abbate set the festival record at the 2024 weigh-in with a 1,408-pound pumpkin. Arthur Purdon’s 108-pound pumpkin won the youth category.
