This hands-on class is all about learning new skills, having fun in the kitchen, and discovering how easy (and tasty!) it is to make your own crackers at home. $15pp Pickling Workshop | March 23 2026 | 6 - 8pm | Oddfellows Hall: Join us for a fun and flavourful Pickling Workshop hosted by Maia’s Pickles! This session is all about learning from a local business owner, tasting some of Maia’s delicious creations, and getting hands-on with your own pickling project. Maia will share the story behind her business, talk about what inspired her to start pickling, and participants will have the chance to sample a variety of pickled veggies, learn simple pickling techniques, and then create their very own jar to take home. $15pp Cheese Wraps Workshops | March 25 2026 | 6 - 8pm | Oddfellows Hall Join us for a creative and eco-friendly cheese wrap workshop led by local resident Susy Chung-Smith! In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to make their own beeswax wraps as a reusable alternative to plastic wrap. Susy will guide everyone through the process of creating beeswax wraps while sharing how they help keep food fresh and lock in flavours, making them perfect for wrapping cheese and other snacks.
