CYCLING |
Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of nature as you explore 213 kilometers of quiet back roads in the Spallumcheen Township. Drop into our visitor centre for a map of the roads and some cycling route options that are available here and heading up into the Shuswap.
Most routes are ready to ride by early April if you dress for it and cycling may extend to mid-November, weather permitting. Traffic volume on some back roads may increase slightly during July and August. Local drivers are courteous to cyclists and you may also have to share the road with local equestrians.
Also to note, Armstrong and Spallumcheen host the annual "Okanagan Shuswap Century Ride” held on the last Sunday in May.
