Canada Day 2024 Event Schedule

12 pm - 5:30 pm - Free swim sponsored by the Parks & Rec Commission
4 pm – Visit the welcome tent for free Canada Day tattoos
4:30 pm – Presentation of the Colour Guard followed by the announcement of the Citizen of the Year and Canada Day birthday cake sponsored by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union; an ASL interpreter will be onsite for the opening ceremonies
5 pm – 7 pm – obstacle courses by Swanson Mountain Fitness and Willing 2 Ninja
5 pm – 8 pm – Music by the Legendary Lake Monsters
5 pm – 8 pm – face painting by Christine Turpin
5 pm – 9 pm – Flash and Frame Canada Day Photo Booth
9pm – 10 pm – Black Light party in the playground
9 pm ‘ish – Free movie in the park!
